BLACKOLY Profile:

1981年生まれ。日本・東京のビートメーカー,DJ,プロデューサー。
幼い頃は森で遊ぶよう、遊び道具は自分で創るよう両親より教育を受ける。
19歳でDJとしての活動をスタート。初めてかけた曲はSmif-N-Wessunの“Bucktown” 。
翌年よりDJ SHIBAKI名義でトラック制作も始める。カセットテープやCD-Rで自主音源リリースを続けながら、
2006年には12inch「DOCUMENT」をリリース。
翌年MIXCD「abstract」、「gravity」をリリースし、アブストラクト、ブレイクビーツ、
ヒップホップを自由に行き来するプレイ・スタイルで年に100本行くか行かないかの現場数をこなす。
2009年、DDAY ONE、DORIAN CONCEPTらが誰なのかも知らず共演。DJ KENSEI氏と共演した時は「君はいつもそんな繋ぎをしてるの ?」と意味深な言葉を頂く。
2010年、眠っていたMPC2000XLでの音創りにどっぷりとはまり、自分の音源だけでCD-Rとカオスパッドを使ってDJ・LIVEを行う。
以降2000年代より交流合ったハウスDJ、ハウスダンサー達との影響もありBLACKOLY名義でハウストラックの制作開始。
彼のバックグラウンドであるヒップホップを中心とする様々な音楽と目の前のフロアで狂喜乱舞するダンサー達のハウスな環境が溶け合い彼独自な音が構築されていく。
2013年に12inch「Dirty Channel」、翌年にCD「Dr.Circus」をリリースし今作へと続く。

Born in 1981, his parents taught him to play in a forest and make what he wants to play by himself.
Started his DJ carrer when he was 19.The first track he played was “Bucktown” by Smif-N-Wessun.
In the ensuing year he started making tracks under the name of DJ SHIBAKI.
Kept releasing his own tracks by casset tapes and CD-R and released “DOCUMENT”(12″) in 2006.
After that he released MIX CD “abstract” and “gravity”, and he has done around 100 of play in a year
with his style of going back and forth freely among various sounds evolving abstract, break beats and hiphop.
In 2009 he played together with DDAY ONE, DORIAN CONCEPT without knowing who they are.
When he played together with DJ KENSEI, he got a meaningfull comment “Do you always do such a mix?”
In 2010 he became immersed in creating tracks with MPC2000XL which was not not used for a long time,
and started doing DJ & live only with his own tracks by using CD-R & KAOSS PAD.
Thereafter he started making house tracks under the name of BLACKOLY influenced by house DJs & dancers whom he has played with since 2000s.
The various music in his background & the dancer’s excitement on the floor like “house” atmosphere greatly melted together
and it led to build his unique sounds.
In 2013 he released “Dirty Channel”(12″), in 2014 “Dr.Circus”(CD), and his work continues to this time.
